I carried my journal wherever I went archiving, planning, jotting the most successful me I could be. I will forever be in gratitude of the system for the period of time it brought so much value to my life. Over the last four years especially, I’ve grown in ways that require my systems to evolve right alongside me.

Here’s how I recommend using it: carve out just 30 minutes (set a timer if you need to), make yourself a cup of tea, and sit with the tool without rushing. You can print it out and use pen and paper, or download it on your electronic device. Let yourself truly complete it. That small act of intention setting is a gift you won’t regret giving yourself.

According to Goodreads, I read 92 books last year! 🀯 Before you close the article, full disclosure that included audiobooks, and narrative cookbooks! I love trying new recipes AND I commute to work sometimes by car or plane πŸ˜‚. I have PLENTY of time to power through many, many, reads.

I do balance it a bit with delicious podcasts, and I’m a one-woman carpool karaoke (yes I sing full-on in the car alone. It hurts no one 🎀).

Discipline is the highest form of self love. It’s choosing, again and again, to care for your health even when it would be easier not to. It’s a decision you never regret, but one you must recommit to daily, grounding yourself in accountability and intention.

Discipline isn’t about restriction; it’s about devotion to the life you want to live. I chose my word this year as Rooted as a reminder to stay anchored in what matters most my health, my family, and the habits that sustain me over time.
